We realized it's one of those cabin purchases everyone ends up using. We bought the 10' version, but it comes in 3 different sizes: 5', 8', and 10'.
Kids jump in and out of the center net. Adults sit around the edge with a drink. It becomes the place everyone naturally gathers once the boat is anchored or the swimming starts.
Unlike traditional foam mats, the Loons Nest inflates in just a few minutes, rolls up for storage, and is surprisingly easy to transport. Paddle North designed it with durable drop-stitch PVC, multiple D-rings for anchoring, and accessory mounts for things like cup holders, making it as practical as it is fun.
The Kids Didn't Want to Get Out

That was definitely the case for us.
As soon as it hit the water, the kids claimed it.

When you're done for the weekend, it deflates, rolls up, and stores much smaller than traditional floating islands. It also includes multiple tie-down points so you can anchor it to your dock, boat, or a dedicated anchor.
